I'm on a journey to live my life more mindfully and a part of that journey is having a gratitude practice. Whenever I feel the green eyed monster lurking behind me trying to tell me that life would be better if I had x, y or z or if I was doing x, y, or z I stop and read through my gratitude list and it grounds me. As a part of Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada I have complied a list of all the things I am thankful for in my life. I thought I would write down one thing for each year of my life.
I am thankful:
1. for my loving husband who I met almost 10 years ago.
2. for my 3 wonderful children who have blessed my life.
3. for my sister and her family and for living close to us.
4. for my generous and loving parents who are still a part of my family's life.
5. for my husband's loving family.
6. that I live in a country where I have choices and freedoms.
