ENERGY: One Little Word project

It's January resolution time only I have I have never been big on setting resolutions.  I have been one though to write down 5 year goals but I haven't done that in five years.  Five years ago I had my second son and three years ago we added a little girl.  I resigned from my job as a high school teacher to stay at home with my three children.  This year though I feel like I need to give myself some direction.  I have heard a lot about One Little Word from Ali Edwards. I have decided to try it out this year.  I liked how you choose one word to guide you through the year as well as create visuals that represent the word you are focusing on.

I found this quote when I was thinking about my word and and it contains the word I was thinking about.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~ENERGY~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I don't mean the go all day, bounce off walls like I'm a 5 year old on a sugar induced high type of energy although sometimes that would be incredibly handy like when you find out someone is going to be stopping by and you are still your pjs and the kids have played living room camp out with accompanying self made blanket forts and play-doh picnic.
The energy I want to focus on is the crackle of possibility that surrounds us all.  The energy that infuses are soul with a warm glow of light that then radiates out and touches everything we do.
Last January I read Quiet by Susan Cain and her work spoke to me actually the red letters from the title called to me.  I was intrigued by what she calls an introverts 'Quiet Superpower - their natural ability to be reflective, sensitive and creative'(page266).  This is how I need to recharge my energy battery.
I will focus on my Quiet Energy.  By recharging my inner flame, my energy in other areas will also be recharged.  Mental, physical, creative, home, family, parenting, marriage.  I'm sure I will add to this list.
Do you have a guiding word for the year?  Are you taking part in the OLW project?  I would love it if you share it with me.  How are you going to focus on it?
