2nd Blogiversary & Giveaway

Happy Monday Morning Everyone!  Two years ago I started this blog simply with the intention of having my own space to learn all the new things about blogging, social media and the internet.  Over the two years I have blogged about many things.  My aversion to summer bucket lists, my poor attempt at Water Balloon Sight Word Activity with my kids in our backyard, and some of my baking or food attempts with my kids such as the Simple Minion Cupcakes or my Simple 2 Ingredient Stir-Fry.

I have focused more and more of my time towards children's books and posting about books my kids have enjoyed or books I have enjoyed reading to them.  You can find them all in one spot in my Treasure Book Library Page.  I have also worked on expanding my ability in becoming a children's book reviewer participating in book blast posts and book tours for children's book authors through Mother Daughter Book Reviews.  There one can find the KidLitBlogHop (link in my sidebar) where many book bloggers share their thoughts on children's books twice a month.  A valuable resource for educators, authors, or anyone interested in a good children's book.

So here I am at my 2nd blogiversary this week.  I look forward to another year with excitement and enthusiasm to grow and learn even more.  I'm a firm believer in the belief that if you are not enjoying what you are doing then it is time to change it up.  I love what I'm doing.  In the spirit of celebration and learning for my 2nd blogiversary I will hold my first ever GIVEAWAY to show my support for those of you have chosen to spend a few minutes a day or week reading what I have wrote.  I appreciate it very much.  The sense of community that is created in the blogging world has probably been the one thing I have enjoyed the most.


For my first ever giveaway I going to giveaway a few of my favourite things.

I love writing in journals.  I just fell in love with this one with its beautiful cover that inspires me to be creative to the inside of the journal which equally as beautiful.  I hope it inspires creativity for the winner.

I also love inspirational messages on bookmarks and the 'I can & I will' message has been very motivating for me this spring so I hope these will also motivate the winner.  And who doesn't love sticky notes perfect for sticky in your planners.
