Here are the first 5 days:
DAY 1: STILLNESS
Stillness
No words
I want less
But I degress as
Their laughter and giggles fill the room
I stop, enjoy their play and reminse of my days gone
Now wait they are gone
Who is going to clean this mess?
DAY 3: CREATE
I had sent the kids down to the basement to play. That is what I usually do when I really need to get something done upstairs without the little pitter patter of feet constantly behind me. Today, they worked together to create a fort with a picnic. Even though they created a mess, I love the creativity and cooperation it builds while in the mist of sibling play.
DAY 4: INDULGENCE
My indulgence this week was seeking in a my favourite cup of coffee while watching one of my favourite shows Criminal Minds.
DAY 5: JOY
Joy is all of us together
Doesn't matter the place or activity
The memories are priceless
Abundant joy
I really enjoyed this ecourse and how it has had me focus on my everyday moments and record them into a special keepsake. Slowing down, paying attention and connecting are important to me and my family life. Have you tried documenting your everyday moments? I love to connect so leave me a comment or come find me on Instagram. What were your moments in Focus?
And thank you to Gina at Connecting Family and Seoul for running this ecourse. You can see her moment of focus here.
